Job summary

BeLeaf Medical in Missouri is seeking a Product Specialist to ensure excellent customer service, provide effective patient consultations, and distribute quality cannabis products. You will assess customer needs, share product knowledge, and conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

The role involves learning cannabis concepts, sales tactics, and staying compliant with state regulations while delivering a high standard of customer care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Prior dispensary or cannabis company experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume retail environment.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain MO Agent ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service for all customers.
• Assess customer needs by asking questions about medical conditions and symptoms.
• Understand HIPAA compliance and keep customer information confidential.
• Process transactions with accuracy.
• Participate in ongoing training on cannabis concepts, sales tactics and new products.
• Communicate with sensitivity and respect for customers, staff and visitors.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as directed.
• Ensure compliance with state and local law and cash register accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of seed-to-sale software and adherence to purchase limits.
• Collaborate with management to satisfy department needs and client feedback.
• Maintain clean and organized dispensary and work area.
• Attend daily pre-opening meetings.
• Assist in inventory as needed.
• Be an ambassador for the company at work.
• Other duties as assigned.
