Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as Budtender preferred.
• Able to pass background check and obtain state credentials.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and customer-service skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
• Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to strains.
• Keeps abreast of new cannabis products and industry trends.
• Processes patients’ payments using the dispensary POS system.
• Keeps the store clean and well-organized.
• Educates patients on safe use of their cannabis product.
• Weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products as required.
• Checks IDs to verify legal age and credentials for entry and purchase.
• Takes inventory and ensures shelves are stocked.
• Performs opening and closing tasks and maintains compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
