Good Day Farm is seeking a Budtender to greet customers, help with product selections, and ensure a positive patient experience. You will advise on cannabis products, stay current with industry trends, and handle payments via POS systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliability, and compliance with state regulations. You’ll maintain store cleanliness, educate patients on safe use, and assist with inventory and opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Work well with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
• Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Processes patients’ payments using the dispensary's POS system.
• Ensures that the store is always clean and well-organized.
• Educates patients on the safe use of their selected cannabis product.
• Correctly weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products, as required.
• Checks patient’s identification documents to verify that they are of legal age and hold the necessary credentials.
• Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Ensures that assigned opening and closing tasks are completed.
• Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
