Job summary

Globe Street Management LLC is seeking a Packaging Lead to oversee cannabis product packaging, labeling, and distribution readiness. You will operate advanced packaging equipment and ensure compliance with state regulations and internal SOPs.

You will manage a team, perform set-up and changeovers, verify weights and batch records, and maintain accurate inventory logs. A 21+ age requirement and background checks apply; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of packaging/manufacturing/inventory experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical packaging equipment preferred.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring.
• Proficient with email and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and documentation.
• Dependable with strong work ethic, punctual, able to work independently and in a team.
• Must be 21+ and pass background checks.
• Must meet Cannabis Control Commission regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of post-harvest packaging personnel for effective coordination.
• Operate automated packaging equipment for cannabis products.
• Set up, operate, changeover, break down, and clean equipment per SOPs.
• Weigh and portion products accurately per batch records and work orders.
• Apply labels to finished products in compliance with guidelines.
• Monitor equipment readings, troubleshoot, and report malfunctions.
• Track batch inventory and update records for accuracy.
• Inspect final products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Complete documentation throughout packaging process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMP and sanitation protocols.
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to safety culture.
• Case out packages using inventory systems (METRC, LUCID, etc.).
