Job summary

Phat Panda in Worcester, Massachusetts, is seeking a hands-on Lab Manager to run day-to-day operations in our cannabis extraction lab. You will lead production planning, ensure testing quality, maintain records, and keep the crew trained, safe, and motivated.

As the Laboratory Director’s right-hand, you’ll coordinate with lab staff, leadership, vendors, and partner departments, so strong communication and follow-through are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of admin/ops experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Word and Excel; labeling equipment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Drive the weekly production plan set by the Laboratory Director and ensure runs are completed on time.
• Maintain efficient workflows and product quality while keeping workspaces organized.
• Oversee routine equipment maintenance and proper logging per manuals.
• Monitor consumables and maintain accurate inventory.
