Job summary

Onyx Testing is a Maryland-based cannabis testing laboratory in Hagerstown seeking an Laboratory/Analytical Chemist. The role requires experience with GC/MS, HPLC, and ICP/MS, adherence to quality systems, and data analysis proficiency.

Candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, knowledge of safety regs, and ability to maintain accurate records while supporting a collaborative team in a growing facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current or prior lab experience.
• Familiarity with GC/MS, HPLC, ICP/MS or ability to learn.
• Proficient in analyzing data from analytical instruments.
• Experience with LIMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Quality System docs (Q Manual, SOPs, Methods).
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 and company requirements.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Keep neat, accurate daily records of work.
• Perform routine lab tasks and inventory management.
