Job summary

Hypotency Cannabis Dispensary is seeking an Inventory Assistant Manager to oversee cannabis and non-cannabis inventory, Metrc seed-to-sale tracking, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated NY environment.

The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, leading the inventory team, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring timely product availability to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of inventory management or warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience supervising inventory or warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with inventory software, POS systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to work in New York State cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cannabis and non-cannabis inventory from receiving through final POS.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy within Metrc and systems.
• Ensure seed-to-sale compliance for every cannabis product.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate vendor deliveries and purchasing decisions with GM.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for inventory control.
• Lead and develop Inventory Associates and manage team schedules.
• Generate inventory reports and analyze trends for leadership.
