embarc in Woodland, CA is seeking an experienced Inventory & Operations Manager to lead inventory and store operations at our cannabis dispensary. The role emphasizes accurate inventory, compliance with state regulations, vendor relationships, and staff leadership in a fast-paced retail setting.

The candidate will manage METRC and Treez POS, supervise daily workflows, and ensure a high-quality customer experience while maintaining policy adherence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with METRC Track and Trace system.
• Experience with Treez POS system.
• At least two years of management or supervisory experience in retail or operations.
• Experience with computerized inventory and compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all inventory management activities including intake, counts, pricing, transfers, recalls, stocking and compliance.
• Maintain accurate counts and records in METRC and POS systems.
• Conduct audits, spot checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Anticipate demand and manage reorder levels for non-cannabis supplies.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and provide inventory reports.
• Oversee store operations, opening/closing, cash handling, merchandising and policy compliance.
• Mentor and coach team members and ensure alignment with company values and policies.
• Drive exceptional customer experience and support achievement of sales goals.
