Job summary

Verano in Albion, IL is seeking a Harvest Specialist to support daily harvest operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. You will assist harvest and post-harvest processing and may help other departments to meet evolving business needs.

You will offload, weigh, label, and manage plant material, ensure proper drying, document activities, and uphold safety, quality, and SOP compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to learn, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Comfortable with heights and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to register with state cannabis authority.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Offload, harvest, clean, and reload flower rooms.
• Weigh, record, and label post-harvest materials.
• Ensure plants are hung in specific dry rooms.
• Manage, document, and destroy cultivation waste.
• Transfer dried plant material to trim and production teams.
• Monitor and maintain quality control per state/local laws.
• Adhere to SOP and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Inform Harvest Manager of discrepancies.
• Visually inspect plants for diseases, insects, mold; report concerns.
• Document activity using track and trace system.
• Support additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
