Job summary

Verano is seeking a Harvest Technician in Canton, OH to offload, harvest, and prepare cannabis plant material for production. You will weigh, label, and ensure proper drying, with emphasis on safety and adherence to SOPs in a warehouse setting.

The role supports cultivation, harvest, and production teams while complying with all state regulations and company policies. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Willing to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Comfortable with heights, soil, water, and tight spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for at least 8 hours per day.
• Must be 21+ and able to register with the state cannabis commission as an agent.
• Comply with all industry laws, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Offload, harvest, clean, and reload flower rooms.
• Weigh, record, and label post-harvest materials.
• Ensure plants are hung in specific dry rooms and monitor quality control.
• Document activity using company track and trace system and SOPs.
• Provide support to cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed.
