Job summary

Trulieve in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Post Harvest Technician II to join our Cultivation team. You will participate in harvesting, weighing, drying, curing, and trimming cannabis material, ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have completed Post Harvest Technician I for at least 9 months, possess strong time management, and work well across departments. A comprehensive benefits package is offered along with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient and achieve goals in all Post Harvest Technician I skill assessments.
• Must be active in the Post Harvest Technician I role for minimum of 9 months to qualify for Post Harvest Technician II role.
• Knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling including harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming.
• Maintain good discipline and attendance standards.
• Ability to work hands on with cannabis plant material daily.
• Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the production department as needed/requested by the direct supervisor.
• Ability to work as a team unit while completing tasks and creating constructive collaboration with members of other departments.
• Create a proactive environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and a team player.
• Excellent time management skills, driving efficiency and productivity to ensure goals are consistently met while maintaining high quality finished product.
• Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations.
• Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Perform all Post Harvest Technician I duties.
• Harvest, intake, dry, cure, trim and transfer cannabis material.
• Defoliate plants as needed.
• Maintain compliance using centralized tracking system.
• Document testing results through reports and logs.
• Input data into the company database.
• Continual quality control assessment as product moves through the process.
• Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with SOPs.
• Weigh and dispose of all plant waste material.
• Ensure material and/or products are processed and prepared by following SOP and/or cGMP standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure all cannabis material and/or product is accounted for according to company policy and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving work areas clean.
• Clean, sanitize, and store all equipment upon use.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform various manual cross department job duties as needed.
• Ensure an overall positive, safe and clean environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
