Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in a cannabis cultivation and processing facility. The role focuses on maintenance operations, preventative programs, regulatory compliance, and team management, with availability for emergencies.

Responsibilities include supervising daily tasks, inspecting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, maintaining records, and coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, preferably in regulated environments (cannabis, pharma, food).
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Black Seal Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in cannabis cultivation/processing facilities and greenhouse maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintaining automated packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of work orders and projects.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee repair of faulty equipment, systems, and structures.
• Manage HVAC, heating, plumbing and electrical systems for functionality.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and scheduling.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with cultivation, processing and compliance teams to minimize disruptions.
