Job summary

Greenthumbindustries is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Extraction and Formulation team in Las Vegas. You will develop and optimize extraction processes across hydrocarbon, ethanol, CO2, and solventless methods, oversee biomass handling, and support post-processing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
• Extensive extraction experience or wet lab/production experience preferred.
• Experience with cannabis extraction and post-processing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with process scale-up, equipment selection, and validation in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up cannabis extraction and formulation processes.
• Document new processes and maintain SOPs and batch records.
• Lead process improvement projects and on-site equipment installations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to commercialization.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Ensure GMP, OSHA, and cannabis regulatory compliance; train production staff.
