Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking an Extraction Technician in New York to support biomass processing and operate hydrocarbon and CO₂ extraction equipment in a GMP-focused environment. This full-time, non-exempt role requires strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols while delivering high-quality cannabis concentrates.

You’ll document batch records, manage CTS/MJ Freeway data, and collaborate with the lab team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Extraction techniques with precision and consistency.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Proficient in documentation and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• 1 year of hydrocarbon extraction experience preferred.
• Degree in related science or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate solventless terpene extraction, short path distillation, and rotary evaporator equipment.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize extraction equipment.
• Document batch records and track materials using CTS (MJ Freeway).
• Prepare and clean workspaces; maintain a safe lab.
• Assist in daily manufacturing operations and process improvements.
