Job summary

Acreage CCF NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to supervise the cannabis extraction lab and the production of finished processed goods. This hands-on leader will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a compliant, collaborative work environment.

The role requires leadership in extraction workflows, SOP development, equipment maintenance, and adherence to state regulations, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field – strongly preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years in leadership in a state-certified cannabis extraction/processing facility – strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Extraction Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily lab operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant extraction and related processes.
• Manage and Develop Extraction Team and Performance: Create and manage staff schedules, assign tasks to meet production goals, foster a high-performing team.
• Drive Production Strategy and Results: Plan and manage extraction workflows to maximize efficiency and output; develop SOPs for extraction and post-processing methods.
• Maintain Compliance and Quality Standards: Ensure processes, documentation, and inventory are audit-ready and aligned with regulations.
• Execute Equipment Maintenance and Safety Protocols: Manage cleaning and preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Support Product Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to improve workflow efficiency and product formulation.
