Job summary

Acreage CCF NJ is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to oversee all operations of the cannabis extraction lab and finished goods production. You will lead a hands-on team, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive SOPs for extraction and post-processing while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership in a state-certified facility, with a focus on operational excellence, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with senior production management to meet targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role in a state-certified cannabis extraction/processing facility.
• Experience with hydrocarbon extraction and post-processing methods.
• Proficiency with inventory systems and standard lab/office equipment.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily extraction lab operations, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the extraction team, manage staffing and performance.
• Drive production strategy and SOPs for extraction, distillation, and post-processing.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, GMP, and state regulations; ensure audit readiness.
• Manage equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support product innovation and workflow optimization.
