Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Lab Technician to join our cannabis production team in New Jersey. This role assists with lab production, including distillation, extraction, winterization and production of cannabis-infused products, following standard laboratory practices.

The ideal candidate has a scientific background, prior production lab experience, and familiarity with regulated environments and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4-year degree in biology, chemistry, or physics preferred.
• Prior production laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in teams with strong judgement and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction.
• Operate extraction equipment per SOPs.
• Process cannabis concentrates and extracts.
• Maintain safety and quality to meet production goals.
• Record data in lab notebooks and systems.
