Job summary

MFUSED is seeking a meticulous Distillate Formulation Specialist to manage weighing, formulation, mixing, documentation, and inventory control of cannabis distillate and ingredients used in MFUSED products.

This position owns the formulation process from raw material issuance through completion of the formulated batch, including Batch Production Records (BPRs), material reconciliation, and accurate inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow written formulas, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Experience accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, batching, or formulating ingredients or raw materials.
• Ability to perform basic production math, including weights, percentages, ratios, and material reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Distillate formulation: weigh, measure, mix, and formulate cannabis distillate, terpenes, and other ingredients per formulas and specs.
• Maintain accurate distillate inventory including receiving, issuing, usage, reconciliation, and remaining material.
• Own and complete Batch Production Records (BPRs) for all formulation activities with real-time documentation.
• Reconcile cannabis and formulation materials and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate tracking of lot and batch numbers, weights, ingredients, and movements for traceability.
• Follow approved recipes and verify calculations and weights prior to mixing.
• Coordinate with Filling Specialists and production leadership to align formulation with production schedule.
• Safely operate scales, heating equipment, mixers, vessels, and dispensing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize formulation equipment and work areas per procedures.
• Follow MFused SOPs, GMP requirements, cannabis regulations, and inventory-control rules.
• Identify and report formulation errors, inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
• Assist with improving formulation processes and production efficiency.
