C3 Industries is seeking a Budtender in Grand Rapids, MI, to provide world-class customer service while driving sales and upselling cannabis products. You will guide customers through product choices, verify IDs, and support online orders in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong product knowledge, adherence to state/local regulations, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Retail experience and a 21+ background check are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs regularly.
• Effective multi-tasking and prioritization.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of state/local regulations preferred.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must obtain appropriate state licenses where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service and make the customer experience the priority.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and conversion goals defined by store leadership.
• Greet customers and verify IDs.
• Assist customers with questions on forms and update information as needed.
• Keep the waiting room clean and the sales floor stocked.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and product selection.
• Fill online orders quickly while maintaining excellent service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and awareness of cannabis trends.
• Accurately use and maintain the POS system and cash handling.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and product intake.
• Collaborate with management to drive sales and foot traffic.
• Adhere to dispensary policies, security, and scheduling rules.
