Job summary

Jars Cannabis is seeking a dependable Cultivation Associate to support daily operations in our Phoenix grow facility. The role involves hands-on plant care from propagation to harvest, working with leadership to maintain a clean, organized cultivation environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Arizona state ID and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move that weight at least 50 ft.
• Comfortable working in temperatures 60–85°F; basic computer skills preferred.
• Cannabis cultivation experience is a bonus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established SOPs and direction from cultivation leadership.
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on schedule.
• Participate in all stages of plant care including cloning, pruning, transplanting, defoliation, trellising, watering, and topping.
• Assist the harvest team when needed.
• Maintain strict cleanliness of grow rooms, hallways, and adjacent work areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize cultivation tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Cross-train with the Post-Harvest department as needed.
• Help maintain cleanliness in shared and common spaces.
• Perform scheduled deep-cleaning of grow rooms.
• Participate in IPM applications under supervision.
• Engage in ongoing training, development, and safety education.
• Report hazards, accidents, or equipment concerns promptly.
• Follow all company policies, state regulations, and SOP confidentiality requirements.
