Job summary

Nirvana Cannabis is seeking a Cultivation Assistant to join our hands-on cultivation team in Arizona. This role supports all plant life cycle stages from propagation through harvest while upholding sanitation, compliance, and efficient facility operations.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with plants, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to producing high-quality cannabis in compliance with state regulations. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in cannabis cultivation preferred but not required.
• Passion for plant cultivation and willingness to learn production techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all stages of cannabis cultivation from propagation to harvest.
• Perform daily plant care: watering, pruning, defoliation, trellising, and IPM.
• Monitor plant health and report pests, disease, or nutrient issues.
• Maintain clean cultivation rooms, tools and equipment.
• Assist with harvesting, trimming, weighing, and post-harvest prep.
• Record plant movements in seed-to-sale tracking system and company software.
• Follow cultivation protocols, safety procedures, and state regulations.
• Support inventory counts of plants and equipment.
• Assist with facility maintenance and special cultivation projects.
• Collaborate with cultivation, production, compliance, and inventory teams.
