Job summary

Green Thumb Industries in Rock Island, IL is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the production team and ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and productive plant operations on the shop floor.

You will partner with GTI Headquarters and site leadership to optimize quality, inventory integrity and on-time delivery, while developing a multi-level professional team in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or Business.
• 5+ years of manufacturing management with 30+ direct reports.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and process improvement.
• Experience in cannabis or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations including processing, packaging, maintenance, quality and logistics.
• Manage facility activities with department managers to meet wholesale objectives on time and budget.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting and data analysis to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop reporting to illustrate business trends.
• Foster GTI's culture of accountability, transparency and teamwork.
• Implement rules and procedures advancing GTI's mission and goals.
• Mentor and develop staff to improve skills and morale.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program for plant facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• On-call for emergencies and scheduling issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
