Job summary

Guiding Eyes for the Blind is seeking a Canine Reproduction & Breeding Support role to advance breeding genetics, reproductive health, and biobank management. The team collaborates across internal and external partners to ensure high welfare standards while maintaining meticulous records.

The position includes hands-on lab work, field procedures, and potential weekend support. We value experience in animal care and genetics, along with strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in animal care, veterinary medicine, animal reproduction, or related field.
• Experience with canine reproductive procedures and laboratory operations preferred.
• Highly organized with strong recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work in a clinical, breeding, or research setting with dogs.

Responsibilities

• Perform canine reproductive procedures to support conception and litter outcomes.
• Analyze semen quality parameters and maintain breeding records.
• Support cryogenic and biobank activities and sample handling.
• Develop and update SOPs for reproductive, cryogenic, and lab processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
