Job summary

DLH Corporation is seeking a CANES SME (Engineering Technician IV) to join our team supporting TACNET modernization. You will transform fleet CANES updates into practical training, develop courseware, and ensure alignment with the latest CANES baseline.

The role requires strong shipboard network expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate real-world system administration experience into effective training products used across the Navy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training in technical field or electronics training.
• Five years of engineering technician/electronics systems experience if qualifying with an Associate's degree or formal training; seven years with a HS diploma.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting engineering systems and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates to align curriculum with CANES baseline.
• Develop, update, and maintain CANES/C4I courseware and lab exercises.
• Apply Instructional System Design to define requirements and learning objectives.
• Use Navy authoring tools (CPM/LOM, AIM) to develop and manage curriculum.
• Ensure materials reflect real-world system administration practices and fleet standards.
• Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update content accordingly.
