Job summary

Florida Crystals is seeking a front line supervisor for the sugar cane harvesting unit, responsible for supervising harvesting crews, coordinating the schedule, and enforcing EHS policies across Osceola Farms. The role requires coordinating with management, driving equipment, and ensuring timely transport of harvested cane to the mill.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in harvesting operations, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license (CDL a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of harvesting experience.
• Education may be substituted by experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
• Proven communication skills with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Comply with EHS policy and Osceola procedures.
• Coordinate safety meetings as required by safety policies and goals.
• Manage harvesting schedule and transport of harvested cane to the mill.
• Supervise daily activity plans and communicate with team members.
• Maintain and repair farm equipment; coordinate with shop team.
• Coach and educate team on policies; assist with corrective actions as needed.
• Recommend improvements to procedures to increase efficiency.
• Assign duties and train workers in harvesting techniques and safety.
• Prepare and maintain time or payroll reports.
