Job summary

Scheels is seeking a friendly Café team member in Meridian, Idaho. You will prepare food and beverages, operate the Café and related shops, and ensure recipes and safety standards are followed.

This role supports fudge production and customer service with a strong emphasis on teamwork and ownership culture. Responsibilities include barista duties, food preparation, stock management, and sanitation, with varied schedules including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school education or related experience.
• Food safety knowledge desirable.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients for sale to customers.
• Perform Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions as assigned by Café Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods.
• Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels and local ordinances.
• Ensure products are received and stored per SOPs.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized personal workspace and dining areas.
