Job summary

Maud Borup Inc. in Le Center, MN, is seeking a Candy Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts to support seasonal production.

You will be assigned to a work station to manufacture, assemble, inspect and package candy products to meet customer specifications, with emphasis on food safety and quality.

The role requires teamwork, reliability and adherence to SQF Food Safety standards; training and PPE are provided, with a safe, clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned work station prepared to manufacture/assemble/package product as directed.
• Maintains continuous operation during shift by manufacturing, assembling, inspecting and packaging product per customer specifications.
• Resolves production problems by notifying appropriate personnel; may discontinue manufacturing operations until the problem is resolved.
• Reports food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Promotes teamwork and effective relations among all contacts by setting positive examples.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment: attends required training, identifies and reports hazards; wears required PPE for position.
