Palmer Candy Company in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Line Support team member for 1st shift to assist with candy production and packaging while upholding quality and food safety standards. This role may rotate between production lines based on business needs in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be reliable and detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: previous candy manufacturing or food production experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Produce, package, and inspect candy products according to established standards.
• Prepare ingredients, packaging materials, supplies, and equipment for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and record lot numbers, date codes, and product information.
• Check product weights, bags, labels, date codes, and packaging for accuracy.
• Monitor metal detectors and report equipment or product issues.
• Perform required product changes, allergen washes, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized production areas and equipment.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety, allergen-control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE and follow all workplace safety requirements.
• Safely move and stage products and pallets as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required
