Job summary

Ferrara Candy Co. is seeking a Panning Operator for the second shift in California. The role focuses on coating, flavoring, and color application to ensure batch quality and process efficiency.

You will work with coating pans, follow instructions, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced confectionery environment. The position requires reading and following safety rules, basic math, and accurate data entry using Redzone software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; education equivalency acceptable.
• 3-5 years related experience or nine months structured on-the-job training.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload coating pans as required.
• Measure and add flavors/colors into panning syrups per written instructions.
• Operate Redzone software to record production data and quality checks.
• Contribute to flavor blends and specific products as directed in English.
• Gather, mix, and package materials involved in confectionery production as needed.
• Calculate, compile, and report production volumes as assigned by the supervisor.
• Safely operate pallet jack and powered lift equipment, including narrow-aisle devices.
