Job summary

A luxury home fragrance brand is seeking a detail-oriented Candle Assistant to support candle production, class preparation, and maintain workspace organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and possesses strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to learn about candle-making. Responsibilities include managing inventory, assisting with shipping, and providing customer service during events. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a production, retail, or hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for creativity and a desire to learn more about candle-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the production of candles, including pouring, labeling, and packaging.
  • Maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet brand guidelines.
  • Help prepare and set up materials for candle-making classes and events.
  • Clean and organize the production and workshop areas regularly.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and report any shortages.
  • Assist with fulfilling customer orders, including packaging and shipping.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service during classes and events.
  • Support company-wide promotions, events, and special projects as needed.
