Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a Cancer Navigator at the Piedmont Columbus Midtown/John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus, GA. This FT role supports cancer patients across the care continuum, coordinating access to clinical and supportive services with a multidisciplinary team.

The Navigator serves as the main contact for patients, families, and referring physicians, ensuring timely and compassionate care coordination within Piedmont’s network.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years nursing experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required and/or multi-state licensure.
• Oncology certification (OCN) preferred.

Mansioni

• The Oncology Navigator manages the care of identified cancer patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers and referring physicians, providing access to clinical and non-clinical supportive services.

Responsibilities:

Cancer Navigator, FT, Piedmont Columbus John B. Amos Cancer Center

The Oncology Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum. Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, and provides resources and assistance with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services offered by Piedmont Healthcare and its community partners.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Nursing experience Required
• Oncology experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Preferred
