Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Cancer Navigator to manage care for identified cancer patients and act as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and referring clinicians at the John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus.

The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high-quality care across the cancer continuum, with emphasis on coordinating resources and community partnerships to support patients.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state licensure (NLC/eNCL) required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high-quality care across the continuum.
• Provide resources and assistance with clinical and non-clinical supportive services offered by Piedmont and its partners.

Responsibilities

Cancer Navigator, FT, Piedmont Columbus John B. Amos Cancer Center

The Oncology Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum. Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, and provides resources and assistance with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services offered by Piedmont Healthcare and its community partners.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Nursing experience Required
• Oncology experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Preferred
