Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Main Campus as a Senior Research Technologist in the Przybyl Lab to support translational cancer research using multi-omic approaches for biomarker discovery and therapy development in sarcoma.

The role involves developing sequencing library prep protocols, conducting functional studies, interpreting results, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced wet-lab setting. Regular daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and six years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment, demonstrating ability to work independently on multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Supervise a research lab daily, including space, equipment, personnel, and project management.
• Assist staff investigator with experimental design and planning/developing technical aspects of research projects.
• Plan, organize, perform, and monitor daily project protocols.
• Collect, prepare, and maintain required research documentation.
• Report and assist with protocol deviations and adverse events.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations and publications.
• Maintain specimen database for laboratory projects.
• Perform ongoing literature reviews to stay current with procedures and research.
