Job summary

Columbus Regional Health's Cancer Center seeks a Medical Assistant to support back-office functions, bring patients to exam rooms, and record basic medical histories. You will assist physicians and nurses and help with daily clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role is approved for 32 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, with hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for qualifying positions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a credentialing test.
• Certification or Registration as a medical assistant through a recognized organization.
• Within 30 days of hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine back-office functions and bring patients to exam rooms.
• Take and record basic medical history and vitals.
• Assist physicians and/or nurses in exam rooms as needed.
• Support daily clinic operations in the Cancer Center.
