Job summary

Columbus Oncology Associates is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team across our Columbus area locations. The ideal candidate will show clinical competence, dependability, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, managing records, preparing labs and imaging reports, and handling triage per office procedures. Ohio CMA preferred with BLS certification highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Two years of Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals, patient history, and reason for seeking care.
• Maintain patient records' confidentiality.
• Prepare lab and radiology and acquire lab and x-ray reports.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations per protocols.
• Maintain work area, exam rooms, and supplies.
• Perform basic triage per specific office protocol procedures.
