Job summary

LatchBio is seeking an AI Biologist - Cancer Biology (Applications) to advance benchmarks that map raw molecular data to clinical decisions. You will identify relevant cancer datasets, translate them into rigorous, deterministically-graded tasks, and help design scoring criteria across conclusion types from mechanism to actionability.

You will work across cross-domain data and long-horizon reasoning, communicating technical decisions clearly and anticipating experimental variability and data

Qualifications

1+ years working in basic, translational, or clinical cancer biology.
Experience with multi-omic tumor data analysis and variant calling (WES/WGS/panel).
Strong programming and statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Identify cancer-biology datasets and convert them into rigorously graded tasks.
Define defensible reference analyses and scoring criteria across conclusions.
Design benchmarks spanning basic cancer biology to clinical outcomes.
Anticipate variability and test handling of incomplete data and conflicting evidence.
