Job summary

BambooHR, based in Utah, is seeking a Manager, BDR to build and lead our first outbound team for Canada. You will shape the outbound strategy, recruit and coach a Canada-focused BDR team, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align messaging and programs.

You will own prospecting tactics, drive pipeline growth, and ensure strong cross-team collaboration to scale outbound success in a dynamic SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Four to five or more years of sales or business development experience in SaaS.
• Three to five or more years of outbound BDR or SDR leadership experience with proven coaching results.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of outbound sales strategy, cold outreach, and lead qualification best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the holistic Canadian outbound strategy—from target segments and messaging to long-term vision.
• Lead and scale an outbound BDR team dedicated to Canada to meet or exceed pipeline targets.
• Design and improve outbound cadences and workflows to boost conversion and pipeline quality.
• Develop prospecting strategies reflecting Canada’s market dynamics and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to shape top-of-funnel programs with measurable impact.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones and coaching to drive accountability and growth.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Align outbound prospecting with marketing campaigns and ICPs.
• Leverage CRM and sales tools to optimize workflows and predictability of results.
• Partner with Sales leadership to ensure smooth handoffs of opportunities.
