Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Transaction Manager for Canada to drive commercial sourcing and lease execution for data center capacity deals. You will lead RFPs, negotiate term sheets, and coordinate across legal, technical, finance, and operations teams to close complex transactions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in transaction management or related fields, strong negotiation and project-management skills, and experience guiding multi-stakeholder deals through LOI and closing stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Location-based hybrid policy requiring 25% office presence.
• Visa sponsorship available for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify data center capacity opportunities and manage relationships with developers, brokers, and power contacts.
• Lead RFPs and commercial sourcing for Canadian data center deals; evaluate proposals and select partners.
• Negotiate term sheets and LOIs; structure commercial terms to meet requirements.
• Oversee LOI to transaction closure; ensure commercial, technical, and legal requirements are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across legal, technical, finance, and operations.
• Act as SPOC for networks, deployments, and government relations; provide updates.
• Develop transaction timelines and monitor critical-path items; manage risk.
• Document and refine transaction processes and playbooks for scalable execution.
• Capture stakeholder requirements in commercial agreements; translate to terms.
• Support long-term data center supply strategy.
