Job summary

VOLTO Consulting in Milwaukee seeks an experienced software validation engineer for automotive embedded systems. The role emphasizes HIL validation, CAN/LIN communications, and AUTOSAR-based ECU development with a strong focus on test case design and automation.

You will work with CAPL scripting, Vector toolchain, and JAMA/DOORS for requirements management, while coordinating with system engineering to ensure traceability and ASPICE compliance in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Automotive domain experience with hands-on HIL validation.
• Test case development for steering and braking systems, focusing on functionality and reliability.
• Strong debugging and electronic laboratory skills.
• Experience with HiL setups (dSPACE/Vector) and CAN/LIN protocols.
• Knowledge of ASPICE processes and engineering work products.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, execution, defect tracking, and test reporting.
• Collaborate with System Engineering on requirements traceability and validation activities.
• Support ASPICE compliance activities and related work products.
• Develop comprehensive test scripts and automation using CAPL and toolchains.
