Qualifications

• Operates and monitors can-making machinery to ensure production efficiency.
• Performs quality checks on finished cans and ensures proper dimensions.
• Handles raw materials and monitors supply during production.
• Sets up machines, adjusts settings, and troubleshoots issues to minimize downtime.
• Assists maintenance with routine tasks and minor repairs.
• Maintains 5S housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Keeps production records and communicates issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate can forming machines and related equipment.
• Inspect cans for defects and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Load and monitor raw materials; manage material flow.
• Configure machines per production needs; troubleshoot to reduce downtime.
• Support maintenance staff with routine upkeep and minor repairs.
• Optimize output while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Maintain 5S practices and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Document downtime and quality issues; escalate as needed.
