Silver King Beverage Co in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a full-time Machine Operator to run and monitor can-making equipment, ensuring safe and efficient aluminum can production. The role requires inspecting cans, loading materials, setting up machinery, and supporting maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

You will also uphold rigorous safety practices, maintain production records, and sustain 5S cleanliness and organization across the work area, contributing to continuous quality improvements.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
• Must have demonstrated ability to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Familiarity with 5S housekeeping and workplace organization.

Mansioni

• Operate can-forming machines, presses, trimmers, liners, and related equipment.
• Inspect finished cans for defects and ensure correct dimensions and quality.
• Load raw materials, monitor supply, and manage material flow to machines.
• Set up machines per production requirements and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist maintenance staff with routine upkeep and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records and downtime logs; report quality issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S principles.
