Job summary

Priority Waste Resources in Michigan is seeking a Can Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver varying sizes of containers to customer accounts. This role requires compliance with OSHA and DOT, and operating a heavy‑duty truck and a Moffett forklift to load and unload containers.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, communicate with customers and Route Manager/Dispatch, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Chauffeur's License and be able to pass background checks and DOT drug screens.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work extended shifts on weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate required equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre and post trip inspections of truck.
• Operates truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements and local laws.
• Loads and unloads containers using a Moffett forklift.
• Completes daily residential routes and maintains clean, safe appearance of vehicle.
• Communicates with customers and Route Manager/Dispatch regarding needs or incidents.
• Notifies supervisor of accidents, safety hazards, or service interruptions.
