Job summary

Priority is hiring a Container Delivery Driver in Michigan to pickup and deliver containers to customer accounts. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, operate a manual transmission truck, and handle Moffett forklift loading/unloading.

The role requires a valid CDL, ability to work long shifts (10-12 hours) including some Saturdays, and a safe driving record. You will interact with customers, report incidents, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL and a safe driving record with no avoidable accidents in the past five years.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, including some Saturdays.
• Must pass criminal background check, physical and DOT drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform various physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre and post trip inspections of truck.
• Operates manual transmission truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT rules.
• Mounts and dismounts a heavy-duty truck daily.
• Operates a Moffett forklift to load and unload containers.
• Completes assigned residential route daily and keeps customer sites clean.
• Communicates with customers and reports issues to Route Manager/Dispatch.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Attends training and briefs as required.
