Job summary

Oak Park Place is seeking a Campus Wellness Director to lead activity programming for residents. You will plan and organize engaging activities that promote wellness, exercise and relaxation, while encouraging hobbies and social interaction.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong organization, and the ability to work independently to support our residents and staff in a caring, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Activity Director Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize activities to provide entertainment, exercise and relaxation for residents.
• Encourage hobbies and participation in programs.
• Plan parties, crafts, games and other activities for residents.

The Campus Wellness Director responsibilities include planning and organizing activities that provide entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents, encouraging hobbies, planning parties, crafts, games and other activities.

Requirements

Wellness Director Qualifications:

• Two years of previous experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years
• Associate degree preferred
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
• Strong organizational and planning skills required
• Ability to work independently is a must
• Activity Director Professional Certification preferred
