Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of relevant waste management or labor experience.
• Ability to operate and maintain medium/small equipment and vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work autonomously and in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must meet Dartmouth College Driver Safety and DOT requirements.
• Must pass annual hearing and DOT medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection, sorting, and disposal of waste and recyclables from campus.
• Transport waste materials to disposal locations and load/unload as needed.
• Assist with events setup and teardown and with moving furniture and equipment.
• Operate and maintain a range of equipment including compactors and trucks.
• Support snow and ice removal operations and general labor as required.
