Job summary

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Vending Equipment Installation and Maintenance Technician for a campus-wide Beverage Vending and Pouring Rights project at UNC Charlotte. The contract role involves site surveys, installation, configuration of machines, cashless systems, telemetry, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities also include coordinating site readiness, safety, material and outage planning, documenting activities, testing, client acceptance, and ensuring adherence to the RFP scope.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing vending equipment installation and maintenance in public-sector or regulated environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Licenses, certifications, clearances, or insurance as required by the solicitation.

Responsibilities

• Survey sites and install/ configure vending machines, cashless systems, and telemetry.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve service issues.
• Complete site readiness, mobilization, safety, sequencing, materials, and outage coordination.
• Document installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities to approved requirements.
• Maintain records for production, labor, materials, safety, inspection, issues, and changes; coordinate corrective work.
• Complete testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training or demonstrations, and client acceptance.
• Trace work to the RFP scope, requirements, or RTM row, and to milestones and evidence.
• Review solicitation materials, addenda, and document assumptions, open items, risks, and client decisions.
• Prepare technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, and quality records for delivery or post-award.
• Coordinate interfaces with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations teams.
• Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records; elevate blockers before impact to deliverables.
