Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Vehicle/Equipment Operator for the Transportation - Parking and Transportation team. This part-time temporary role works 30 hours per week with a Thursday–Sunday schedule, starting about 11/12/2026.

The incumbent will safely operate university vehicles and use dashboards to coordinate pickups and drop-offs on campus. Must have a valid NC driver’s license and appropriate vehicle operation certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
• Requires appropriate licenses or certifications to operate assigned types of vehicles or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive Faculty, Staff, Students and Community Members as a Vehicle/Equipment Operator.
• Use a dashboard/portal to communicate pick up times and drop offs.
