Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Construction Management Advisor to lead on-site management of utility infrastructure projects at the University of Iowa campuses. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule across planning, execution, and commissioning phases, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and campus stakeholders.

The role requires daily site presence, strong safety leadership, and experience with industrial/utility projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree preferred, or seven+ years of directly related experience in construction/utility projects
• Experience managing industrial, utility, municipal, institutional, or energy infrastructure projects
• Ability to lead safety programs and ensure compliance with codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning, safety reviews, site logistics, and contractor onboarding
• Oversee QA/QC, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and campus teams to manage risks and ensure safety and quality
