Job summary

Linn-Benton Community College invites applications for a Campus Tours Assistant who will work with our Student Recruitment Specialists to coordinate campus visits for prospective students. The role involves conducting tours, coordinating outreach, and following up with attendees to strengthen engagement.

The position requires an AA/AS degree and at least one year of related clerical or customer service experience.

Qualifications

Requires an AA/AS degree, plus one year of related clerical, customer service, or adult education experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have well‑developed oral and written communication skills and college level math skills.
Requires knowledge of general clerical practices and principles.
Requires public speaking skills and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to communicate effectively both in English and Spanish one‑on‑one, over the phone, and in group settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Works with Student Recruitment Specialists to provide campus visits to prospective students and conducts tours.
Assists with recruitment events and plans large campus tours with schools and community groups.
Ensures visitors input their information into the recruitment CRM system.
Follows up with prospective students after campus tours and maintains outreach.
Communicates with prospective students via email and in person.
Updates campus tour schedules and availability in the CRM system.
Assists training of student workers and ambassadors as tour guides.
