Job summary

Oberlin College CAPS is seeking a full-time clinician to deliver direct psychotherapy to undergraduate students in a high-demand, accredited setting. The role centers on direct clinical contact with students, while contributing to crisis response, campus collaboration, and outreach initiatives.

The position upholds HIPAA/FERPA compliance, with targets aligned to accreditation standards. Ten-month term, with opportunities for supervision of practicum students and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited program.
• Current independent licensure in Ohio or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in college counseling or similar setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethics under HIPAA/FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual psychotherapy using evidence-informed approaches.
• Conduct intake assessments, diagnoses, and short-term treatment planning.
• Co-facilitate group therapy and provide couples counseling as assigned.
• Maintain documentation in the Medicat system per privacy standards.
• Participate in crisis triage, on-call coverage, and campus coordination.
